The intention of massage therapy is to improve an individual’s health and well-being through hands-on manipulation of muscles and other soft tissues such as tendons and ligaments to prevent and alleviate pain, discomfort, muscle spasm, and stress.

During your session, I use a wide variety of therapeutic approaches including trigger point therapy, myofascial release, joint mobilizations, deep tissue therapy, and hydrotherapy.

In addition, I can help educate you with regard to proper postural procedures and prevention of harmful repetitive strain patterns.

It combines Swedish massage techniques, the time-proven healing properties of hot and cold therapy, and stones for natural healing. The use of hot stones has its roots as far back as 1500 B.C. and has been used by Native Americans to detoxify, and find harmony and balance. It is the perfect treatment for achieving mental wellness as the heat of the stones causes a deep meditative state.
